As an architectural practice, we recognise both our direct responsibilities to our people and our indirect influence through the materials, products, suppliers, and collaborators we engage.

Purpose

This policy outlines LA London Architects LLP's commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all aspects of our business and supply chains. We take a zero-tolerance approach to slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking, and are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.

Scope

This policy applies to all partners, employees, temporary workers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers engaged by or on behalf of LA London Architects LLP.

Our Commitment

We are committed to:

  1. UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights
  2. The International Bill of Rights
  3. The International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work
  4. ensuring full compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure that modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.

Human Rights Risk Management and Due Diligence

To identify and mitigate risk, LA London Architects LLP undertakes the following actions:
